How we prepare
for your endoscopy

  • Three GI endoscopy subspecialists perform every gastroscopy and colonoscopy themselves.
  • High-definition Olympus endoscopes help us spot even small lesions.
  • Easier colonoscopy. Alongside standard prep, you can choose a tablet bowel prep or a low-volume prep with far less liquid (extra cost). We use CO2 insufflation to reduce bloating after the exam.
  • Sedated gastroscopy and colonoscopy on the same day, back to back, with same-day polyp removal when possible. (The endoscopist may decide on the day that removal should wait.)
  • Automated reprocessors and dedicated staff handle scope cleaning and maintenance.
  • We check on you in the recovery area before you head home.

You cannot drive on the day of a sedated endoscopy. We explain the precautions when you book.
