How do I book a screening?

To book a screening, call the Screening Center direct line at 031-548-1103. Phone hours are weekdays 09:00–17:00. Tell us the screening you want and your preferred date. If you do not know which tests to choose, our screening coordinator will decide them with you.

Where is the clinic? How do I get there by subway?

We are at 30 Docheong-ro 89beon-gil (Iui-dong), Iruri Tower 2F, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. From Exit 2 of Gwanggyo Jungang (Ajou Univ.) Station on the Shinbundang Line, walk five minutes toward Gwanggyo High School. We are next to the Gwanggyo 1-dong Community Service Center.

Are screening hours different from Internal Medicine hours?

The Screening Center is open Mon–Sat 08:00–13:00. Internal Medicine is open Mon 08:00–21:00 (evening hours), Tue–Fri 08:00–18:00 and Sat 08:00–14:00. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Please call to check each doctor's schedule and days off.

Can I be screened on a Saturday?

The Screening Center is open on Saturdays too, 08:00–13:00. For booking, call 031-548-1103 on weekdays between 09:00 and 17:00.

Do you offer National Health Screening? What does it cost?

Gwanggyo Will is a designated screening clinic of the National Health Insurance Service. The general health screening has no out-of-pocket cost. National Cancer Screening may carry a 10% copayment, depending on the cancer type and eligibility. Call us and we will check whether you are eligible.

Can I drive on the day of a sedated endoscopy?

You cannot drive on the day of a sedated endoscopy. Please use public transport or come with a companion. We explain the related precautions when you book.

Can I choose a tablet or low-volume bowel prep?

Alongside the standard bowel prep, you can choose a tablet bowel prep or a low-volume prep that greatly reduces the amount of liquid. There is an extra cost, so please request it when you book.

Can I have both endoscopies and polyp removal on the same day?

You can have a sedated gastroscopy and colonoscopy back to back on the same day, and polyps can be removed that day. However, the endoscopist may decide on the day that same-day removal is not possible.

How do I contact OB/GYN?

For OB/GYN, call the main line 031-548-1104, ext. 3. OB/GYN hours are Mon, Tue and Thu 08:30–17:00, Fri 08:30–16:30, Wed and Sat 08:30–13:00.
