Biopsy or polyp removal incurs an additional charge. If you would like the low-volume tablet bowel prep taken on the day, tell us before your screening (extra cost). You cannot drive on the day of a sedated endoscopy, and we explain the precautions when you book. The test descriptions here are an overview to help you understand them.

National Health Screening

Gwanggyo Will is a National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) designated screening clinic. General screening has no out-of-pocket cost. National Cancer Screening may carry a 10% copayment, depending on the cancer type and who is eligible. Call us and we will check whether you are eligible.

Who is eligible

The employee insured, self-employed insured householders, and subscribers or dependents aged 20 and over (NHIS terms)

How often

Once every 2 years; every year for non-office workers

First-stage tests

Consultation, measurements, vision, hearing, blood pressure, chest X-ray, blood & urine tests

Second-stage tests

If hypertension or diabetes is suspected, confirmatory tests and care follow

National Cancer Screening (five cancers)

If you are eligible for National Cancer Screening, you can have gastroscopy, colonoscopy, mammography and the cervical cancer test here in one visit.

How it works We run employee screening with your contact person, covering the schedule, the program and the handling of results. Split schedules by team, and combining National Health Screening with a comprehensive program, are both possible.
